We’re introducing a new Display workspace, upgraded popup types, a brand-new selector layout, and more customization options — all designed to make your geolocation setup smoother and more powerful.
Let’s take a look at what’s new!
1. New Display Layout & Expanded Settings Area
We’re launching a new Display tab as the central workspace for managing both Popups and Selectors.
Within this tab, you’ll be able to choose different popup types and selector types directly based on your storefront needs. This creates a more consistent and streamlined setup experience.
At the same time, the app layout will be expanded to make better use of the full screen width. By reducing unused space on both sides, this provides:
- More working area and clearer visibility
- Easier browsing between elements
- A smoother and more comfortable editing experience
These layout improvements aim to make configuration faster and more intuitive.
2. New Popup type: Redirect Notice
Redirect Notice has been reworked and moved into the new Display tab as a selectable popup type.
Previously, it was an optional setting under Auto Redirect, allowing you to show a confirmation notice before redirecting users.
Now, it follows the same structure as other popup types, featuring:
- A refreshed layout
- More flexible content and display settings
Currently using the Redirect Notice under Auto Redirect?
No worries — our support team will reach out case by case to help you transition smoothly to the new version.
For now, both versions of Redirect Notice will remain available separately in the app. The Auto Redirect Notice will be deprecated ut in a future update as we complete the transition to the new popup structure.
2. New Selector type: Box Selector
We’re introducing Box Selector, a new layout designed to make country, language, and currency selection clearer and easier.
With this new selector type:
- Customers can select their country and language directly within one centered box
- Currency is displayed separately for clearer visibility
- All options are visible together, making updates easier and more straightforward
💡Ideal for global stores that want a more modern and organized selector experience.
4. Enhanced Customization Options
We’ve added more flexibility to customize how your popups and selectors look and display information.
From theme selection to how country, language, and currency appear, you can better align these elements with your storefront design.
The Translations tab also supports the updated Popup and Selector types, making it easier to configure localized text across your storefront.
These updates are coming soon!
Once released, you’ll see the new changes directly in your Geos dashboard when you access your store.
